It’s hard to get a clear picture about what we mean when we talk about emotional healing.
- It’s having our emotions and feelings serve us instead of hinder us.
- It’s about having emotions and feelings serve our relationships and getting our needs met.
Many of us come out of childhood as emotional cripples. We have a lot of work to do to get into relaxed interaction with others.
I have one primary method that I use for healing emotionally and spiritually. That is the Self-Empathy Meditation. It works.
In addition, I recommend journaling, the meditations from the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra, and study of texts we find sacred for integration into our lives.
It sounds simple, but emotional healing is a tremendous journey.
